Week Long Sailing Courses
Invest 7 Days With Me & Leave Ready To Sail With More Confidence For Life
Most sailing courses teach you enough to pass a test and then wave goodbye. I'm here to teach you enough so you trust yourself when sh*t gets real. Within 48 hours, you'll be docking in tight spaces without your hands shaking. By day seven, you'll handle the chaos textbooks don't cover. And somewhere in between, you might figure out stuff about yourself too.
How do we do it?

Their Transformation Says It All
You finish a sailing course… and you still don’t feel like a captain.
Maybe you already did a sailing course. Maybe you're just starting and the basics still feel slippery. Either way, something's not clicking. The confidence isn't there.
After teaching 400+ students, I've learned you can't captain a boat by memorizing sh*t. You need to understand it. And you can't understand it in a weekend with your phone buzzing and work emails popping up
You need seven full days. Just you, the boat, and enough time for things to actually sink in without any distractions or family drama.

We start with theory so you know what you're doing before you do it. Then we practice until your hands remember without having to think.
Every evening, we debrief: -
-
What happened
-
What went wrong
-
What clicked
You write it down. Process it. The next day, you build on it.
By the end of the week, you've got a foundation. And I'll tell you what to do next because finishing the course is just the beginning.
I Meet You Where You Are. Then We Build From There.
Some people show up wanting basics. Others have certificates but still second-guess everything. Doesn't matter - I shape the week around what you need.
Everyone learns differently. We keep it calm, fun, and hands-on. You'll practice until it clicks. You'll make mistakes where they don't cost you anything.
And yeah, I bring energy. I love teaching this stuff, and I'll push you forward.

Hey, you adventure-seeking cutie 👋
Hey. I'm Oran. I Teach Sailors to Trust Themselves.

(yeah, I checked)
I learned how to lead in the Navy - training people with different personalities to stay calm on the water under pressure and perform when it mattered.
When I started teaching sailing, I kept seeing the same thing: people don't fail because they don't know enough. They fail because they panic. Because nobody gave them space to mess up and figure it out.
So I built a teaching method that does. One that turns stressed students into confident captains who stay calm when things go sideways.
What makes this course
UNIQUE
Learn by doing (and Failing)
You’ll be hands-on from day one — docking, sailing, and troubleshooting for real. Mistakes are welcome; that’s how mastery happens.
Practice, Practice, Practice
You’ll repeat drills until they feel natural — from docking to MOB recovery — so confidence becomes muscle memory.
Performance Boat
Train on a responsive yacht that sails beautifully even in light winds — the perfect platform for learning real control.
Captains Mindset
Learn to think and act like a skipper — make decisions, lead the crew, and stay composed under pressure.
Daily Reflection & Feedback
Every evening, we talk through what worked, what didn’t, and how to improve. That’s how progress sticks.
Problem Solving & Pressure
Unexpected challenges will test your judgment — you’ll learn to assess quickly and act confidently.
Small Crew, Big Connection
2–4 students per boat means more helm time, deeper bonds, and a crew that feels like family.
Enjoyment & Adventure
We keep it fun and lighthearted — laughs, swims, sunsets. When you enjoy the process, it all sinks in deeper. It’s a week of exploring hidden bays, islands, and Croatia’s wild coastlines.
Mindfull Sailing
Through breathwork and awareness, you’ll learn to stay centered — calm seas start within.

💩Get ready for some ShitShows 💩
In real sailing, mistakes are guaranteed.
You’re dealing with wind, waves, fatigue, pressure, and the responsibility of keeping people safe.
Shitshows are part of the game — you can't avoid them. We just need to make sure you avoid the MAJOR SHITSHOWS — you know, the ones that cause serious damage or risk lives.
But the beautiful thing about shitshows is how much they can teach you.
During our week together, we’re bound to face some. Some because of us, some because of… well, because we’re on a boat out on the water.
We’ll learn how to prevent them, how to fix them, and how to learn from them — so that when you’re out there on your own, you’re prepared, calm, and ready to handle whatever the sea throws at you.
Because becoming a captain isn’t about perfection.
It’s about managing the chaos.
That’s a huge part of what I’ll teach you on board.

You're The Captain

One of the most powerful parts of the week is the Captain of the Day drill.
Each student gets a full day in command of the boat — from passage planning and sail setup to docking, anchoring, and deciding where we spend the night.
You pick the bay, you choose the music, you set the tone. I’m there for support and guidance, but the decisions (and the consequences) are yours.
And because real sailing is never predictable, I’ll throw in a few surprise incidents along the way — small challenges to test how you think, react, and lead under pressure.
This exercise is built on the principles of Self-Determination Theory — the idea that people learn best when they have
-
Autonomy - real control and ownership over their choices
-
Competence - the space to develop mastery through action
-
Relatedness - trust and teamwork with the crew
Even if you don’t feel ready to “be the captain,” this experience changes the way you see sailing — and yourself.
You’ll feel what it’s like to lead, to take responsibility, and to stay calm when all eyes are on you.
And when you’re given the time and space to figure things out on your own, everything sinks in deeper — for good.
